Fed: Nigerian President Obansanjo arrives at Parliament
CANBERRA, Feb 28 AAP - Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo today arrived at ParliamentHouse to a 21-gun salute and guard of honour.
President Obasanjo was greeted by Governor-General Peter Hollingworth and Prime MinisterJohn Howard.
He then went on to meet Opposition Leader Simon Crean, Speaker Neil Andrew and SenatePresident Margaret Reid.
Mr Obasanjo, wearing traditional dress, accompanied the party into Parliament Housebefore meeting with Mr Howard for morning talks.
He is the first national leader to be greeted by Mr Howard ahead of the CommonwealthHeads of Government …
