FED: Kerry Nettle Iraq mission cancelled

Greens Senator KERRY NETTLE will return to Australia because of the deteriorating situation
in Iraq.

Senator NETTLE left today for Baghdad to hear first hand from Iraqis about their experiences
under the US-led military occupation of their country.

But her spokesman says the organisers of the trip are preparing to leave Baghdad and
they've recommended Senator NETTLE postpone her trip.
