Fed: Australians urged to relax, share and care this Christmas
As Australians finish frantic last-minute Christmas shopping today .. they're being
urged to give thanks for the little things in life.
Australia's political and religious leaders remind us to think of those less fortunate
as we tuck into Christmas lunches and open presents.
In a Christmas message to the nation .. Prime Minister KEVIN RUDD has urged Australians
to treat the festive period as one free of the many pressures of the year passed.
He says it's a time when we can relax with our families and our friends and our loved ones.
Both Mr RUDD and Opposition Leader MALCOLM TURNBULL have also asked Australians to
remember our soldiers serving overseas who can't be with their families at Christmas time.
The PM will attend Christmas mass in Sydney tomorrow.
